Career

Vivek had no intention of coming into acting and instead pursued his higher education. He completed his M.Sc. in business management from England. He then turned towards modelling and got his first break in an episode of Yeh Hai Aashiqui in 2013. The next year, he got his first significant role in Ek Veer Ki Ardaas... Veera as Inspector Rajveer Thakur. Vivek was recognized from the show and soon started getting more offers.

In 2015, he started appearing in the popular show Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. His role of ACP Abhishek Singh was so popular that he had to be brought back even after his story arc was completed. Meanwhile, he played the male lead in the show Kavach...Kaali Shaktiyon Ka. In 2017, he appeared as a contestant on the celebrity couple dance show Nach Baliye 8.
