Career

Thakur had a keen interest in bodybuilding. His desire, perseverance and hard work lead him to participate in an International bodybuilding contest. The contest was organized in Bangkok (Thailand). His sincere dedication towards his passion won him the gold medal.

Later, he stepped in the Indian television industry. 2011 was his debut year. He contributed towards Dwarkadheesh-Bhagwan Shree Krishna as Prince Dushasana. In the same year, he made a special appearance in the series Kahani Chandrakanta Ki on Sahara One. 

Subsequently, he received offers for contributing to other mythological stories. Chandragupta Maurya, Jai Bajrangbali, Ramayana were his next projects.
Thakur Anoop Singh enacted the role of Dhritarashtra in the then famous television show Mahabharat. 

As soon as Mahabharat went off the air, Thakur Anoop Singh bagged in the role of Mullah Do Piyaza. This role was for the serial titled Akbar Birbal. In the same year, he gave in a special appearance in Sony Entertainment Television’s show CID.

Thakur Anoop Singh loves to engage himself in Indian delicacies and cuisines. Amongst his favourite delicacies, he prefers to have sweet potato, honey, and rice as a light diet.
