Rajpal Yadav met his wife, Radha, while he was shooting for a film in Canada. They were introduced through common friends. They were in a relationship for 10 months. Post which Radha Yadav, relocated to India. They married in 2003 and amidst tough times their marriage is growing stronger.

Apparently not much is known about Rajpal Yadav’s parent as they live a very grounded life. They like to stay away from the glitz. The actor is married to Radha, who is apparently nine years junior to him. So there is an evident age gap. The couple has a daughter. Radha is the actor’s second wife. His first wife, sadly, passed away giving birth to the daughter, Jyoti. In the year 2017, Jyoti got married to a bank employee based in Agra.
Career
Rajpal Yadav went to the Bhartendu Natya Academy, Lucknow, in the year 1992 and after completing graduation in 1994, he got enrolled at the National School of Drama in New Delhi. Finally, in 1997 he moved to Mumbai to embark on the acting journey.
Rajpal Yadav made his debut in the Bollywood industry with a short part in the movie ‘Dil Kya Kare’ in 1999. Prior to which he acted in a TV show, "Mungeri ke bhai Naurangilal". This show was telecasted in Doordarshan. Post his debut movie in 1999, he had done two more movies in the same year- Mast and Shool.
In the year 2000, he portrayed the role of a terrorist. This first character-meaty-role in the negative space and otherwise. It was after this movie that he was started to being recognised. But, quite naturally, the actor in discussion felt more connected to the comedic roles.
He has done a host of movies where he has added the element of comedy. The list just goes on and on with movies like Garam Masala, Chup Chup Ke, Hungama, Waqt, Phir Hera Pheri, and Dhol.
Usually, people associate the name Rajpal Yadav with mainstream Bollywood comedy. But in retrospect, we have him playing some serious in-comedic role as well in the movies like Main Madhuri Dixit Banna Chahti Hoon, Kushti, Mirch and Main, and Ladies Tailor.
He has also acted in a couple of Telugu movie like Kick 2, And Amma, in the same order. Some of the most exciting works of his life are slated to be released in 2019 and Total Dhamaal is one of them.
Controversies
Of late, he has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. In 2013 he was imprisoned for 10 days under the charges of filing false affidavits.
Recently, he has been sentenced a three months jail term owing to failure in repayment of a loan.
