Marriage/Relationships

Radhika Pandit was never someone who would come out and be open about her relationships. She belongs to the category of the actors, who like to her keep their personal life guarded against the public glare. This aspect of her life is also resonated by the fact that she was quite successful in keeping her relationship with husband Naveen Kumar Gowda aka Yash under wraps.

Their relationship came into open after the couple decided to get engaged. Radhika married Yash on 9th December 2016, in a close-knit private marriage ceremony held in Bangalore.  

Family

Radhika Pandit was born in a religious family which is highlighted by the fact that her father Krishnaprasad Pandit has connections with Saraswat Brahmin, which is a community of Chitrapur Saraswats. Apart from having ties with the religious community, he worked in an insurance company.

Radhika’s mother, Mangala is from Goa or as people like to call it ‘Goan descent’, she is a housewife. Radhika has a younger brother whose name is Gourang.  

Career

Radhika Pandit has a sprawling career as an actress in the Kannada films. She wanted to pursue a management degree and had no intention to become an actress. It was after she completed graduation, she had some spare time, so she went for the auditions and got the part. Since then things just began to fall into place, and she started getting offers for films. It was a prime example of how life happens to you and when you are busy planning other things.  

She made her debut with the movie Moggina Manasu released in 2008, though she began to shoot for the film 18th cross, which was released in 2012 due to some issues.
Moggina Manasu brought her to the limelight, even though, it was her debut movie. Since then, she has done more than twenty movies and won various awards.

Radhika won her first Filmfare award South, for her debut movie Moggina Manasu, while her second Filmfare award came with the movie Love Guru. In total, she has won six Filmfare Award South.

Apart from the movies Moggina Manasu and Love Guru, she has also won awards for the movie Krishnan The Love Story, Hudugaru, Adhuri, and Mr and Mrs Ramachari. Her upcoming movies include Aadi Lakshmi Purana. She has also worked in TV serials like include Nandagokula and Kadambari.

Apart from the fake twitter account of the sandalwood actress, which was taken off within no time, there is nothing much controversial about her journey in the showbiz industry.

Awards

She received the South Indian International Movie Awards for Best Actress in the year 2015 and was also nominated for the same in the next year that is 2016. In 2016, she also received the IIFA Utsavam for Best Actress. She is also the winner for Filmfare Awards South for Best Actress in the year 2011 and 2009.
