Career

Nushrat Bharucha has played lead roles in various films and television. She made her debut in 2002 with the TV serial Kittie Party. In the year 2009, she made her Bollywood debut with the role of Riya in the movie Kal Kisne Dekha. Then in 2010, she played the role of Shruti Dhaiya in the movie Love Sex Aur Dhokha by Dibakar Banerjee. In 2011, Pyaar Ka Punchnama she played a role of Neha, which won her some much needed critical acclaim. Her next projects were Akasha Vani and Darr @ The Mall.

In 2015, she reappeared in Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 as Ruchika. Her latest box-office successes include Sonu Ke Titu ki Sweety and Dream Girl.

Nushrat Bharucha got involved in a controversy in the year 2018 during the success party of her film Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety when she reportedly got too close to Ranbir Kapoor.
