She completed her schooling and graduation both from Mumbai.

In the year 2010, Nisha Agarwal made her debut in the Telugu Film Industry with the film “Yemaindi El Vela”. The film was a romantic drama and was a huge success at the Box Office. She received many positive reviews from the critics for her performance. 

Her next film got released in 2011, where she played the role of a medical student. The name of the film was "Solo" and reviewers said that she really proved her talent with her acting in the second half of the movie.

In the year 2012, she moved on to Tamil Films and made her first movie named “Ishtam” which was a remake of the movie “Yemaindi El Vela”. It was a failure on the Box Office. In the year 2013, she worked in the film “Sukumarudu”, as a village girl opposite Aadi and Bhavna Ruparel. Later in the same year, she was seen pairing up with her co-star from “Yemaindi El Vela”, Varun Sandesh for the film “Saradaga Ammayitho”.

In the year 2014, she entered the Malayalam Film Industry with her film “Bhaiyya Bhaiyya”, playing the role of an educated and headstrong girl and the daughter of an ex-minister. In the year 2014, she was signed for another Malayalam film, “Cousins”.
