Nagma is still unmarried though it is said that she has dated some men. The most prominent name among these is of Sourav Ganguly, who is a former captain of the Indian Cricket Team. It is said that the two were in a serious relationship in the year 2001. The next man in Nagma’s life was South Indian actor Sarath Kumar. 

Nagma was also in a relationship with the popular Bhojpuri star Ravi Kishan. The strange part of this relation was that Ravi Kishan’s wife also accepted the relation. However, when Ravi Kishan went to participate in Bigg Boss, the relation slowly came to an end. Nagma was also linked to Manoj Tiwari who was also a popular Bhojpuri actor. However, both denied being in any kind of relation. 

Family

Nagma is the daughter of Arvind Pratapsinh Morarji, who died in 2005 and Shama Kazi. The name of her stepfather is Chander Sadanah. She has two half-sisters named Roshini and Jyothika, both of whom are actresses. She has two half-brothers, Dhanraj and Yuvraj.

Career

Throughout her career, Nagma has worked in numerous movies. She debuted with the Bollywood movie Baaghi in the year 1990. She did a Telugu movie by name of Peddinti Alludu in 1991, a Chinese movie Green Snake in 1993, Tamil movie Kadhalan in 1994 along with a Malayalam movie Sreekrishnapurathe Nakshathrathilakkam in 1998. Her most popular Kannada movie was Kurubana Rani in 1998, while her most popular Bhojpuri movie was Panditwa Mera Shaddi Kab Hogi in 2005. She has also done movies in other languages including Bengali, Punjabi and Marathi.

Controversies

Nagma landed in a major controversy in the year 2005 when Jamiruddin Ansari, an underworld criminal when arrested said that Nagma was the mistress of Dawood’s brother Anees Ibrahim.

Nagma likes Biryani a lot. Her hobbies include reading and dancing. 

Awards

Nagma has won many awards during her film career among which was the Best Actress award at Bhojpuri Film awards for the movie Dulha Milal Dildar in the year 2005.
