Born on 6 October 1982, Meiyang Chang is presently standing at the age of 36 years (as of 2018). He hails from Dhanbad and is 5 feet and 10 inches tall.

Meiyang Chang is presently unmarried. However, he was said to be in relation with Monali Thakur.

Meiyang’s father is a dentist, his name is Gaichen Chang. Meiyang’s mother is a beautician. There is no information available about Meiyang’s siblings. Chang belongs to the third generation of Chinese Indian. 

Career

Academically, Meiyang Chang studied Bachelors of Dental Surgery from VS Dental College & Hospital (Bangalore).

Meiyang Chang was a participant in the singing reality show Indian Idol Season 3. Later, Meiyang Chang stepped into Bollywood. His debut film was Badmaash Company. He played the role of an opium trader in his very next film. Detective Byomkesh Bakshy was his next official release. In the year 2016, Meiyang Chang starred in the movie Sultan.

He also stepped in as the host of a live talent hunt show, Rising Star (Colors TV). His first ever playback singing was for the movie Jagga Jasoos and the song was Tukka Laga. Meiyang Chang was also a host at Love Me India, aired since September 2018.  

Meiyang Chang was the host for both the fourth and fifth seasons of Indian Idol. Meiyang was also a host for Indian Premier League, Music Mirchi Awards, India’s Got Talent and IIFA. 

Meiyang Chang was also seen endorsing big brands such as Kurkure, McDowell’s No. 1 and Orbit chewing gum. Tu To Na Ayi, Hanju and Kuch Dino Se are some of the songs sung by Meiyang Chang.

No such significant debates are hovering around Meiyang Chang except when he and his girlfriend decided to part off from each other.

Meiyang Chang loves to have Chinese cuisines. Indian non-veg preparations are the next one to serve his platter a lot. He likes to watch movies of Anushka Sharma. White, grey, red and black are amongst his favourite colours. Cricket is one of his favourite sport.
