Age and Height 

Born on 09 August 1975, presently Mahesh Babu is 43 years old (as of 2018). He is 6 feet and 1 inch tall.  

Marriage/Relationship 

A one-woman man, Mahesh Babu married his long-time partner Namrata Shirodkar. He has always been dedicated towards her and this keeps him out from all the relationship rumours.  

Family

Born as the fourth (amongst five) child of Krishna (Telugu actor) and Indira, Mahesh spent most of his childhood in Chennai. Mahesh and Namrata have a daughter (Sitara) and a son (Gautam Krishna).

Career 

Mahesh Babu accomplished his schooling from St. Bede’s Anglo Indian Higher Secondary School (Chennai). Throughout his academic years, Mahesh shined as an above average student. Later he pursued his Bachelor’s in Commerce degree from Loyola College (Chennai). Once he was done with his academic achievements, he went on to meet director L. Satyanand (Visakhapatnam). Under him, Mahesh Babu trained himself with the basics of acting for a period of nearly three to four months.

Since his father was a Telugu actor, Mahesh Babu often used to visit the film sets right since his childhood. Noticing the flair for acting, the team there offered a child artist role to Mahesh Babu. Shankharavam, Bezaar Rowdy, Gudachari and Mugguru Kodukulu were some of the movies that feature Mahesh as a child artist.

1999 was the year when Mahesh stepped in the industry in the lead role in Raja Kumarudu. With its massive commercial success, Mahesh rose to fame as the Prince. In the succeeding years, he was featured In Yuvaraju and Vamsi movies; however, both of them were criticised for their poor performance.

Okkadu of 2003 was amongst the highest grossing films of Telugu film industry. People welcomed Mahesh Babu for his exceptional acting flair. As time progressed further, Mahesh Babu doubled his efforts and soon witnessed success coming all the way towards him. He rose to tremendous success during the period from 2004 to 2010. But, soon he had to face a career setback for nearly 4 consecutive years. 

The year 2015 brought in new rays of hopes for this rising star. He contributed towards many films clinching in massive financial successes. Srimanthudu, Brahmotsavam, Spyder, and Bharat Ane Nenu were some of his film contributions during this period.

Controversies were seen hovering around Mahesh Babu when he was criticised by Samantha for a poster of Nenokkadine. This poster displayed Kriti Sanon crawling behind Mahesh Babu and was the limelight of Samantha’s criticising tweets.

Amongst food, Mahesh Babu loves to have biryani and coffee. He spends his spare time watching movies of Krishna Ghattamaneni, Trisha and Sridevi. Mani Ratnam is amongst one of his favourite directors.
