Born on 17 December 1972, John Abraham is currently 45 years old (as of 2018). He is around 6 feet tall with a steady build-up.

It was in the year 2014 that John tied knots with Priya Runchal in a secret marriage ceremony. Before that, the relationship between John Abraham and Bipasha Basu was known to all. The duo fell for each other on the stage of Jism. However, destiny had something different in store for them.

John Abraham hails from a multi-lingual family, wherein his father is Catholic in origin, and his mother is a Parsi. Alan Abraham is John’s younger brother. Career

While in Mumbai, John studied at Bombay Scottish School (Mahim, Mumbai). Further, he pursued his Bachelors in Economics (Jai Hind College, Mumbai) and undertook an MBA course (Mumbai Educational Trust). 

He laid the foundation of his modelling career by contributing to a Punjabi music video (Jazzy B). Further, he joined the Time and Space Media Entertainment Promotions Ltd., however, the production house was soon shut down due to financial imbalances. 

It was through the movie Jism that the actor made his way to the film industry. With his dedicated efforts, the actor successfully clinched in massive appreciation for his performance. His good looks and perfect physique were just an add-on to his sincere efforts. 

It was through Dhoom (2004), Bollywood witnessed its next rising star behind the face of John Abraham. Till the year 2010, John Abraham contributed sincerely towards the roles served under his platter. 

It was just after a lapse of two years when John decided to put on the producer’s hat with Vicky Donor being his first production output. Bagging in positive responses from the social world, the film made a tremendous commercial success.

Controversies were not an exception to this actor turned producer too. Occasionally, John also faced extreme critics from the social world. With the introduction of Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2, John stepped out of the Yashraj productions.

He was criticized for kissing Sugandha Mishra on-show when he admired her performance. No one can forget the liplock that took place between John Abraham and Abhishek Bachchan on the sets of Dostana!

John was also the centre of attraction for his fall off a bike ride, his break-up with Bipasha Basu and the several injuries he went throughout his career.
