Career

Evelyn started her career with the Hollywood film Turn Left in 2006, even though the role was really short. After a long gap, during which she did modelling for TV advertisements, Evelyn made her debut in Bollywood with the 2012 film From Sydney With Love; however, the film went unnoticed. In 2013, she appeared in the film Nautanki Sala, a role that got her noticed and praised. She also got supporting roles in Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and Issaq the same year. Due to her appearances in many successful films, Evelyn’s career went uphill even without any major roles.

In 2014, Evelyn got a significant role in Yaariyan. Though the film was a major failure, Evelyn became a recognizable face among the Indian audience; part of this was due to the popular song “Sunny Sunny”. Evelyn continued doing supporting roles in many movies over the next few years, including Main Tera Hero, Hindi Medium and Jab Harry Met Sejal. In 2018, she appeared in two films: Jack and Dil and Bhaiaji Superhit. Both films tanked terribly at the box office.

Evelyn also appeared in music videos like Anni Da Pe and Party Non-Stop. In 2019, she is set to make her Tollywood debut with the trilingual film Saaho.

In 2014, Evelyn was caught in a controversy when the Saifai Mahotsav, of which she was a part of, was criticized for being conducted amidst the Muzzafarnagar riots.
