Divya Khosla Kumar married Bhushan Kumar, the owner of T-series on 13th February 2005 at a simple ceremony at the Vaishno Devi Temple in Katra, Jammu. She was just 21 years of age at the time of her marriage.

Not much is known about the parents of Divya Khosla Kumar. She is married to Bhushan Kumar, and the couple has a son named Ruhaan Kumar who was born in the year 2011. 

Career

Divya Khosla began her film career with the movie Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Saathion in the year 2004. She also acted in a Tollywood movie Love Today in the same year. Thereafter, she did a course in editing and cinematography. She then took to directing music videos and directed a couple of these for Agam Nigam, Jermaine Jackson, and Tulsi Kumar. She also did a few advertisements thereafter. She did around 20 music videos and then directed her first movie Yaariyan in the year 2014. 

She has also choreographed five songs in the movie including Maa, Baarish, Love Me, Thoda Aur, Allah Wariya and Zor lagake. She has also directed the movie Sanam Re which was released on 12th February 2016. She is also one of the producers of the movie Roy in which Ranvir Kapoor was in the lead.

Controversies

Divya Khosla Kumar has not been in any direct controversy, but she did stand up for her husband Bhushan Kumar who was targeted by a woman in the recent “Me too” campaign. Divya defended her husband saying that people even target Lord Krishna.

Divya Khosla Kumar likes dancing, reading, and writing. She like Salman Khan and Hrithik Roshan a lot.  She also adores Madhuri Dixit, Priyanka Chopra, and Ellen DeGeneres. 

Awards

She has received the Rajiv Gandhi Award for excellence for her movie Yaariyan in the year 2014. Divya acknowledged the same by saying that it was a great honor for her to get this award.
